Victoria Valentine is the
creator and publisher of Skyline Publications, founded
in September 2001. Skyline published multiple print
titles including Skyline Literary Magazine; SpinningS --
intense tales of life; A Hudson View Poetry Digest, and
At Poetic Times, a literary review.
Although Victoria has been a published writer for years,
her mission is to provide a creative platform for author
and artist expression. Two new web sites have recently
been added to the Skyline Literary Community: Poet
Express and Haiku Haven.
"Even though we are no longer in print, one of my
driving forces is to publish as many writers as
possible. It is my pleasure to offer fledgling talents
a first publishing credit. Our Literary Community
provides a well-traveled pathway upon which authors and
artists may present their work to thousands of readers
on the Internet. Skyline has been a stepping stone for
scores of talented individuals who shared their
creativity with us, gained experience and confidence,
and moved on, attaining their goals as published, paid
writers and artists. We celebrate the success and
excitement of our writer and artist accomplishments."
Victoria is the co-author of 'At The Stroke Of Midnight,
24 Tales of Terror.' She has also written lyrics for
five songs included on the 'Eyes Of Ash CD' performed by
'The Unintended of NY.' Victoria is currently finishing
her second book of short stories, poetry and haiku,
titled, 'Worn But Not Broken,' blending romance,
adversity, perseverance and inspiration.
"While I enjoy writing melodrama, I find horror to be a
captivating venue in which to share my imagination, as
well as my emotions, my fears and my dreams. As a
spiritual individual, be it in my imagination or
reality, I feel akin to `the other side' of life, and
that which lies beyond."
Victoria resides in New York, USA. She has been writing
since childhood and through the years has gathered
various literary and art credits. She has been published
online and in print magazines in the USA, UK, France,
India, and in South Africa.
"Reach for the sky, it's closer than you think.
You may not find that pot of gold at rainbow's end,
but the search is one colorful experience!"
